Vernon youth will toast mothers for Vernon youth.

The Vernon Jubilee Hospital Youth Auxiliary will host a Mother's Day Fundraising Gala Sunday, May 11, at the Creekside Conference Centre in the Vernon Recreation Complex.

"Come celebrate mom, and support youth mental health," said VJH Youth Auxiliary chair and event emcee Ellie Cucheran.

Doors will open at 9:45 a.m. and the morning kicks off with a welcome from Cucheran at 10:15 a.m. That will be followed by dancing, singing, and performance all from local youth. Food is included in the ticket prices. All proceeds from ticket sales go toward youth mental health.

"Join us for a delicious brunch as we raise funds youth mental health initiatives in our community," said Cucheran.

Tickets are $40, while those $10 and under can get in for $10.
