Following the announcement of a summer concert series in Lake Country, Pradha Farm is letting music lovers know of a deeper mission behind the event.
Hosted by Pradha Farm, owner Genevieve Daniel said this event is more than a festival, it乌鸦传媒檚 a love letter to local culture.
乌鸦传媒淲e乌鸦传媒檙e not just putting on concerts,乌鸦传媒� said Daniel. 乌鸦传媒淲e乌鸦传媒檙e building a space that celebrates local culture and supports the next generation of artists, small businesses, and farmers.乌鸦传媒�
So when the series takes to the stage on June 27, it will also be in support of youth in music.
Pradha Farm is hosting a raffle and door prizes during each of the concerts, with all proceeds going to George Elliot Secondary School to support its music department.
乌鸦传媒淏y rallying the community around art, education, and the land, the fundraiser reflects the values at the heart of the event: connection, creativity, and care for the next generation,乌鸦传媒� said Daniel.
Local businesses are invited to contribute by donating products, services, gift cards, or unique experiences to the fundraiser.
乌鸦传媒淚t乌鸦传媒檚 about more than just raising money,乌鸦传媒� explained Daniel. 乌鸦传媒淚t乌鸦传媒檚 about showing students that their creative passions matter 乌鸦传媒� and that this community will invest in them.乌鸦传媒�
The concert series will feature artists from genres of pop-soul and afro-Latin melodic house blends to jazz, hip hop and rap, all with shared roots in community and collaboration.

Noting Lake Country乌鸦传媒檚 historical agriculture roots, she added that Pradha Farm addresses modern issues including housing accessibility, food security, and bridging the past with the present.
Pradha乌鸦传媒檚 farmers live in tiny homes that can be driven away without leaving a footprint on the land but allows them access to caring for crops and animals.
Daniel乌鸦传媒檚 hope is that the Agricultural Land Commission will work with local municipalities to support struggling farmers.
Urban Harvest will be offering up fresh fruit and vegetables to concertgoers, free or by donation, to support their weekly deliveries to the Kelowna Women乌鸦传媒檚 Shelter and The Bridge Youth and Family Services Society.
Other vendors and artisans will also be on site.
