Comedy for a Cause is back with a special event supporting Canadian Blood Services. 

Presented by Cherry Lane Homes, and owner Peter Teschner, the evening promises laughter with local comedian Alex Miller.

"We're incredibly grateful to Peter and Cherry Lane Homes for making this event possible," said David Kopp of Kelowna Comedy. "His support means we can donate 100 per cent of ticket sales directly to Canadian Blood Services. It's a perfect example of how local businesses can make a real difference."

Teschner has made 364 plasma donations and aims to reach 1,000. He and his wife Teresa have supported various local causes over the years.

Comedy for a Cause has a history of supporting local charities, with past events benefiting organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central and Southern Interior of B.C. 

Comedy for a Cause for Canadian Blood Services takes place on Saturday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Dakoda乌鸦传媒檚 Comedy Lounge (1574 Harvey Avenue).
