The Peachland Lions Club got a well-deserved thank-you and a $750 donation from Mayor Patrick Van Minsel and council at the June 24 council meeting.
Club members attended to accept a certificate of appreciation and a cheque recognizing their efforts at the District乌鸦传媒檚 annual Peachland Open House & BBQ, held earlier this month.
The Lions Club served up free food at the June 11 event, volunteering their time and energy to help bring the community together 乌鸦传媒� a gesture council said didn乌鸦传媒檛 go unnoticed.
