A dog has died after a house caught fire in West Kelowna Wednesday evening.
The blaze started just after 6 p.m. and was witnesses say it was already fully involved when firefighters got to the home on Westside Road in Trader乌鸦传媒檚 Cove.
Wilson Landing Fire chief Don Bennison said it was a stubborn fire, but that crews got the job done.
乌鸦传媒淔lames were stubborn on the roof, but we kept putting water on it,乌鸦传媒� said Bennison. 乌鸦传媒淚t went out late, there weren乌鸦传媒檛 any issues, and the investigation is getting going.乌鸦传媒�
Bennison said that the resident乌鸦传媒檚 pet dog may have been lost in the fire, and they won乌鸦传媒檛 know the cause of the fire until the investigation is completed.
The home was largely destroyed by the blaze.
