The new owners of Rose乌鸦传媒檚 Pub is now known, but it still remains to be seen what will become of the space.

乌鸦传媒淚 can confirm that Cactus Restaurants has aquired the existing Rose乌鸦传媒檚 space in Kelowna,乌鸦传媒� said Christy Murphy, vice president of communications for Cactus Restaurants. 乌鸦传媒淎t this time we do not have any plans to announce for this location.乌鸦传媒�

A Cactus Club is currently situated in the Yacht Club, just a minute walk away. It moved into a space it leased there in 2015. It乌鸦传媒檚 unclear how long the lease was for.

Rose乌鸦传媒檚 closed Sept. 30, leaving 58 workers, including some seasonal staff out of a job.

Perhaps more than that, however, it marked the end of an era.

Co-owner Rose Sexsmith, choked back tears, when discussing the permanent closure of the pub.

乌鸦传媒淚t is what it is. We乌鸦传媒檝e been incredibly blessed,乌鸦传媒� she said. 乌鸦传媒淚t乌鸦传媒檚 time, I乌鸦传媒檓 grateful for all these years 乌鸦传媒� I乌鸦传媒檓 sad because it乌鸦传媒檚 like your kid is moving to another world. We乌鸦传媒檝e had an amazing run and met amazing people. I can乌鸦传媒檛 say how wonderful it乌鸦传媒檚 been.乌鸦传媒�

Sexsmith co-owned the pub with her brother George Hanna, since 1989, which she described as 乌鸦传媒渁 successful partnership.乌鸦传媒� Her children worked at the pub and her grandchildren are now old enough to sit and enjoy a drink on its deck.
