A Kelowna gamer is helping out the community by fundraising and donating to the Central Okanagan Food Bank (COFB).

Dylan St. Onge, through his gaming page Destination Gaming TV, launched the fundraiser on April 2.

He said he乌鸦传媒檚 donating all the proceeds from the month of April to the COFB to help members of the community who were hit hard by the current COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, he will also donate five cents per like and share on all his posts, including his live gaming streams, to the food bank.

乌鸦传媒淪ome people might not be in a position to donate 乌鸦传媒� and this gives them the ability to contribute through something as simple as liking and sharing my posts in April,乌鸦传媒� St. Onge said.

乌鸦传媒淚 know five cents might not seem like a lot in the short run, but your share can help put this in front of someone else who might share or contribute.乌鸦传媒�

St. Onge said he乌鸦传媒檚 lucky he still has work and has full-time hours.

乌鸦传媒淚 still get paid and have full-time hours. I work for a great company乌鸦传媒� but many people are not so lucky. This is a time when we really need to come together and give help where we can,乌鸦传媒� he said.

乌鸦传媒淚 just really wanted to give back to people who are in more need than I am.乌鸦传媒�

He said he乌鸦传媒檒l count the likes and shares on his Facebook page and figure out how much he乌鸦传媒檒l add to the funds he raised.

乌鸦传媒淭here乌鸦传媒檚 so much negativity going on around right now and I just wanted to bring some positivity to those who are in need. Everyone乌鸦传媒檚 super stressed out right now but there乌鸦传媒檚 a light at the end of the tunnel and this is one of those times that everyone needs to pull together, especially as a community,乌鸦传媒� St. Onge said.
