Kelowna resident, Robert Goertzen feels that 21 is a special number for him after winning a whopping $21.9 million on the Feb. 20, 2016, Lotto 6/49 draw.

乌鸦传媒淢y lottery ticket package was $21 dollars and I discovered I won $21.9 million on February 21st,乌鸦传媒� exclaimed an elated Goertzen.

The 44-year-old Kelowna heavy equipment instructor says a hush fell over the Superstore when he checked his winning ticket. And that乌鸦传媒檚 when everything changed for him.

乌鸦传媒淚 felt famous! Everyone was coming up to me to congratulate me and to take a photo of me and the lottery screen,乌鸦传媒� recalled Goertzen.

Despite knowing what it truly feels like to be on 乌鸦传媒淐loud 6/49乌鸦传媒�, Goertzen says he will continue to work but he does have a few ideas on how to spend his winnings.

乌鸦传媒淚乌鸦传媒檓 going to buy a diesel truck and a new 5th wheel trailer for myself and a Jeep for my girlfriend and of course, I乌鸦传媒檒l pay off my debt,乌鸦传媒� smiled Goertzen. 乌鸦传媒淚 also want to help my child with her future and provide the best education money can buy.乌鸦传媒�

Goertzen says he still can乌鸦传媒檛 believe that he乌鸦传媒檚 a lottery winner and says he will continue to play Lotto 6/49 and purchase tickets when he乌鸦传媒檚 grocery shopping 乌鸦传媒� it乌鸦传媒檚 part of his weekly routine.

乌鸦传媒淭his win means freedom -- to be free from debt and have the life I乌鸦传媒檝e always wanted,乌鸦传媒� said Goertzen.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Real Canadian Superstore on Baron Road in Kelowna, where Goertzen is a regular shopper.
