A crash involving a motorcyclist had emergency crews on scene in front of The Strand Resort Monday afternoon.
Crews were called to the incident on Okanagan Landing Road (at Grant Road) around 3:45 p.m. July 14.
"The investigation has determined a motorcycle travelling westbound on Okanagan Landing was struck by a Subaru travelling in the same direction," said Const. Chris Terleski, Vernon North Okanagan RCMP media relations officer. "The Subaru was attempting to make a turn but then made a sudden correction into the path of the motorcycle.
The rider was ejected and transported from the scene by BC Emergency Health Services for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic was limited to single-lane alternating while the scene was cleared.
