A woman who allegedly used counterfeit United States currency to purchase items from a store in Penticton is being sought by police.
According to RCMP, the woman made the purchase in May.
In addition to a description of the woman, the police also released a photo from the surveillance footage taken from inside the store in the hopes that she could be identified.
ѻýWeѻýre asking anyone who may recognize this individual or has information related to this investigation to contact the Penticton RCMP,ѻý said Cpl. James Grandy, BC RCMP spokesperson.
The woman is described as Caucasian, between 40 to 50 years of age with two distinctive tattoos; one of a bracelet-style rosary on her left wrist and the other of a cross on the back of her right hand.
