The wildfire south of Okanagan Falls is being held, as of 5:30 p.m., according to BC Wildfire Service.
Being held means the fire is expected to remain within the current perimeter, control line or boundary, based on fuel and weather conditions and resource availability.

A wildfire sparked south of Okanagan Falls on June 4.
According to BC Wildfire Service, the blaze is currently 0.7 hectares in size and located about 200 metres east of Green Lake Road.
The fire is suspected human-caused and burning out of control.
In a statement, the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen (RDOS) said it was aware of visible smoke in the area. Okanagan Falls Fire Department crews are on scene and people are asked to stay out of the area until further notice, it added.
The RDOS' Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has been activated to a Level One event for monitoring and more information will be provided when available.
If further action is required, RDOS officials will send a notification will be sent via "Voyent Alert!"
