KelownaÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Boyce-Gyro Park

Our story about the sale of some land adjacent to Boyce-Gyro Park being sold to a developer (Page A3) was first posted on kelownacapnews.com and on our Facebook page where readers chimed in on the move by Kelowna.

Merry Erin Edwards:

Kelowna city council doesnÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™t care about the average citizen. Beach access is difficult enough for people who donÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™t own lakefront property, and now this. Money is the only thing that matters here.

Stephen Brown:

What a surprise Kelowna bending over for the rich. ThatÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s why so many docks have been rebuilt quickly without proper steps to get across said docks or access to lakefront thatÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s being blocked by entitled rich people. I hope the greed you take from the sale will actually go towards lakefront access for all Kelowna people, not just the rich.

Barry Bowman:

I wonder do people even read the complete story before posting? By some of the comments. I donÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™t think so.

The park isnÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™t going anywhere people. Read the article. ItÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s a good deal.
