To say has made a successful transition to pro football would be an understatement.
For the second straight season, the former KSS Owlsѻý star has been named to the CFLѻýs West Division all-star team.
Loffler, a second-year safety with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, recorded a team-high 75 defensive tackles while making one interception and forcing three fumbles in 17 games.

Last season, Loffler, 25, was also the leagueѻýs all-star safety and was named the Bombersѻý outstanding rookie in 2016.
After an injury-plagued four years at Boise State, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Loffler transferred to UBC in 2015 where he was a key figure in the Thunderbirdsѻý run to the Vanier Cup national university football title.
The Bombers selected him in the third round, 19th overall in last yearѻýs CFL draft.
In high school, playing at quarterback and safety for the Kelowna Owls, Loffler was named B.C. high school footballѻýs player of the year in 2010.
Roy Anderson, who coached Loffler for three seasons at KSS, isnѻýt at all surprised that the former Owl is flourishing in the pro game.
ѻýWe knew back then, if Taylor could stay healthy, that he was going to be a very special player,ѻý said Anderson. ѻýHis physical ability and mental approach to the game were above the average player by such a wide margin.
ѻýTaylorѻýs got the talent, but heѻýs also got the fire and competitiveness that every all-star needs to have, heѻýll do whatever is needed to be successful,ѻý he added. ѻýItѻýs great to see, and no surprise to see him having success at the pro level.ѻý
Loffler and the Bombers will host the Edmonton Eskimos this Sunday in the CFLѻýs West Division semifinal.
