KelownaÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Jordyn Yendley has added another national gymnastics title to her growing collection.
The athlete captured the junior womenÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s double mini trampoline title last weekend at the Canadian Championships in Oshawa, Ont.
Jordyn finished with 66.80 points, .6 better than runner up Alexandra Forest from Alberta.
The latest gold medal adds to JordynÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s wins in the level 6 double mini at nationals in both 2015 and
Jordyn also competed in the level 6 trampoline event in Oshawa and placed sixth.
OGCÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Andrew Martin also reached the podium at nationals, winning bronze in the senior menÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s trampoline.
Taya Lawless finished sixth in womenÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s level 5, under-16 Double Mini Trampoline and fifth in womenÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s level 5, under-16 trampoline.
Carter Calvert finished 29th on menÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s level 5 trampoline at his first Canadian Championships.
Jordan Macdonald finished 12th in womenÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s level 5, under-16 double mini trampoline and 34th in womenÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s level 5, under-16 trampoline.
Andrew Oliver was second after preliminaries in menÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s level 6, 17+, but was unable to compete in finals due to sustaining an injury during warm up.
