Kelowna乌鸦传媒檚 Jerome Blake broke a Canada Summer Games record, but it wasn乌鸦传媒檛 quite good enough for the gold medal.

The Rutland Senior Secondary grad was edged out in the 100 metre final out by the slimmest of margains乌鸦传媒�0.002 seconds乌鸦传媒攂y Ontario乌鸦传媒檚 Karson Kowalchuk in a photo finish. Both runners were clocked at 10.38 seconds.

Still, Blake nosed out Kowalchuk earlier in the week in the 200 metre final in 20.87 seconds to win the gold medal

Blake乌鸦传媒檚 third medal of the games, a gold, in the men乌鸦传媒檚 4x400 relay.

The Kelowna athlete was thrilled to once again wear B.C. colours on the national stage.

Blake also enjoyed the experience of interacting with the people of Winnipeg.
