The Salmon Arm Minor Hockey Association marked the end of the 2024/25 season with its annual awards event on Hucul Pond at Rogers Centre.
Esso Medals were presented during the April 22 event to players from each team in the following categories: Most Dedicated, Most Improved and Most Team Spirit.
Presenting the medals were members of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and former female minor hockey players who continue to pursue their hockey careers.
Adult awards were presented at the annual coaching staff dinner on April 15. The Salmon Arm Minor Hockey thanked all the volunteers, coaching staffs, board members, team and tournament sponsors, whose support helped the 500 young players who played this season.
