Sun乌鸦传媒檚 Kitzman top defensive player

Okanagan defensive back wins BCFC defensive player of the week honours.

Tye Kitzman was a man on a mission Saturday night at the Apple Bowl.

For his efforts, the Okanagan Sun defensive back has been named the B.C. Football Conference乌鸦传媒檚 defensive player of the week.

Kitzman registered five tackles, an assist, had a batted ball, and made a game-ending interception in the Sun乌鸦传媒檚 season-opening 19-15 win over the Westshore Rebels.

乌鸦传媒淭ye had a very good game,乌鸦传媒� said Sun head coach Ben Macauley. 乌鸦传媒淗e was a big factor for us on defense.乌鸦传媒�

The Vernon native is in his third season as a member of the Sun.
