An eagle grabbing takeout during a drive through the busy streets of Greater Victoria isn乌鸦传媒檛 something you see every day.

So when Amalea Smithson saw a big bird in the next lane of traffic with its talons full, she rushed to get out her phone and capture proof.

乌鸦传媒淢y hubby and I were just driving down Interurban when suddenly we saw the eagle flying very low to the ground in the other lane, it likely had just picked up 乌鸦传媒� what looks like 乌鸦传媒� a hawk or another bird of some kind. My husband thought it seemed to be struggling to fly higher with the weight of its catch,乌鸦传媒� she told Black Press Media.

乌鸦传媒淒efinitely was one of the coolest things I乌鸦传媒檝e ever seen and I bet it would have been even cooler to see from the other angle 乌鸦传媒� the front of the eagle.乌鸦传媒�

Smithson posted her wildlife interaction online 乌鸦传媒� in part to remind residents that wildlife lives among us 乌鸦传媒� and so far it乌鸦传媒檚 had more than 900 reactions.

乌鸦传媒淭hey乌鸦传媒檙e out there all the time, it乌鸦传媒檚 just catching such a cool shot like that, so close to the ground with something in its talons乌鸦传媒� it was neat,乌鸦传媒� Smithson said.

乌鸦传媒淚t乌鸦传媒檚 just a reminder that even though we don乌鸦传媒檛 see them on video, we乌鸦传媒檙e still in the middle of nature where they乌鸦传媒檙e still catching things 乌鸦传媒� even though we乌鸦传媒檝e built infrastructure and roads through their habitat.乌鸦传媒�
