Some might say itÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s the most Canadian campaign in campaign history.
June 16 is Plaid for Dad day, a national event aimed at raising funds for the Canadian Prostate Association, and awareness for early detection.
For those needing the friendly reminder: thatÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s two days before FatherÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Day.
Plaid for Dad was launched in 2015 as a way to shed light on the estimated one in eight men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer each year.
On Friday, participants can wear their best plaid ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½“ along with their colleagues ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½“ and post a photo to social media.
For every #plaidfordad hashtag posted until June 18 Sanofi Genzyme will donate $5 to Prostate Cancer Canada, up to $10,000.
This year, 1,000 workplaces are expected to be participating and fundraising through barbecues and company events.
