Itѻýs made in Kelowna, itѻýs 100 per cent B.C. apples and it is ready for you to enjoy.

With BC Cider Week just a few days away, SunRype has unleashed its new ѻýpremium craft ciderѻý.

ѻýSunRype is taking a page out of its own rich history book with the launch of a new premium craft apple cider that harkens back to the 1950s, when the iconic B.C. brand introduced Canadaѻýs first hard cider,ѻý writes SunRypeѻýs Barb Broder.

The label features an adaptation of the retro SunRype logo, circa 1946, accented with a graphic representation of the Okanagan Valley, which SunRype still calls home.

ѻýSunRype Cider truly captures the essence of the Okanagan. It is made with only 100 per cent B.C. apples, locally brewed in small batches with the signature apple taste that SunRype does best,ѻý says marketing manager Kat Hillis. ѻýBut donѻýt think itѻýs going to taste like the apple juice you grew up with ѻý the profile is definitely all ѻýgrown-upѻý and delivers a deliciously crisp, dry refreshing finish.ѻý

The ad campaign for this new alcoholic addition is called ѻýItѻýs About Timeѻý as the company believes the cider was an overdue addition.

ѻýSunRype Pure ѻýBlue Labelѻý Apple Juice has bene Canadaѻýs #1 selling apple juice for generations, and all that history and expertise meant it was only a matter of time before the company rolled up its sleeves and crafted a cider to join in the growing craft cider market.ѻý

SunRype will be sampling it at a number of events and venues to celebrate the third-annual BC Cider Week, April 28 to May 7.
