Nine B.C. restaurants have found themselves among the top 50 hotel restaurants in Canada based on OpenTable and KAYAK's research.

Most of the B.C. restaurants on the list are based in the Lower Mainland, including the Michelin-recommended Botanist, Notch8, ARC, and the Victor ѻý Parq Vancouver in Vancouver, and ATLAS Steak + Fish in Burnaby.

The Courtney Room and Tea at The Empress  in Victoria, Lakeside Dining Room ѻý Hotel El Dorado in Kelowna, and the Brickworks in Whistler round out the B.C. locations.

According to their research, 64 per cent of Canadians believe that hotel restaurants are a dining option open to both tourists and locals alike, while 68 per cent say they would book the same hotel again because of a positive dining experience in its on-site restaurant.

ѻýTravellers arenѻýt just asking ѻýWhere should I go?ѻý ѻý theyѻýre asking ѻýWhatѻýs on the menu when I get there?ѻýѻý said Kate Williams, chief communications officer at KAYAK. ѻýGreat dining experiences are an essential part of todayѻýs travel itineraries and hotels are rising to the occasion.ѻý
