Did you know Keremeos乌鸦传媒� Grist Mill and Gardens have almost 100 heritage apple varieties growing on the property?
The heritage site invited the public to sample some of its amazing and uncommon apples last weekend.
The tasting took place in the Apple House. Heritage apple varieties aren乌鸦传媒檛 like your regular store-bought Granny Smith, Gala or Macintosh.
The apples at the Grist Mill are everything from Wolf River, Northern Spy or Caville Blanc D乌鸦传媒檋iver. There乌鸦传媒檚 also the Cox乌鸦传媒檚 Orange Pippin, an Ashmead乌鸦传媒檚 Kernel or Grimes Golden, said Grist Mill general manager Chris Mathieson.
This was also the last weekend the mill will be open for the season.
