The Peters Bros. Grand Parade takes centre stage at the 78th edition of the festival

The 78th annual edition of Penticton Peach Festival welcomed thousands of people to the city's downtown core for the Peters Bros. Grand Parade on Aug. 9.

Floats from across B.C. and Washington registered for the event, which started at the intersection of Main Street and Eckhardt Avenue before turning left on Wade Avenue and right on Winnipeg Street.

The parade also included participants from Portland, Ore., and ended on Lakeshore Drive near the S.S. Sicamous.

Penticton Peach Festival wrapped up Aug. 10, after five days of free family-friendly entertainment across the city.
