After just one term in office, residents of Kelowna-Lake Country have voted former MP Stephen Fuhr off the island.
乌鸦传媒淎s they say, the tribe has spoken,乌鸦传媒� said Fuhr in a consolation speech at BNA on Monday night.
乌鸦传媒淭he good news is I started the journey with 40 friends and I have a lot more of them now and we have a Liberal government at the end of the day.乌鸦传媒�
But, what乌鸦传媒檚 next for the man that shocked the polls in 2015 by unseating the incumbent 乌鸦传媒� and heavily favoured 乌鸦传媒� Conservative candidate Ron Cannan, isn乌鸦传媒檛 all that surprising.
乌鸦传媒淎 nap?乌鸦传媒� he quipped.
乌鸦传媒淚乌鸦传媒檝e obviously got to get back to Ottawa and roll up my apartment; wind down my office.乌鸦传媒�
And it乌鸦传媒檚 that office that had Fuhr nearly in tears through the night.
乌鸦传媒淭hat staff needs to stay at that office,乌鸦传媒� he said, adding that he kept Cannan乌鸦传媒檚 staff on when he got the job. 乌鸦传媒淚t was a big help to me. I乌鸦传媒檇 recommend that Tracy really consider keeping them if they乌鸦传媒檇 like to stay and they can get her all up and running.乌鸦传媒�

When asked if he would make another political endeavour, Fuhr乌鸦传媒檚 answer was succinct: 乌鸦传媒淚 don乌鸦传媒檛 know.乌鸦传媒�
乌鸦传媒淚t might be a little early for me to answer that question,乌鸦传媒� Fuhr said as the final results still poured in on the bar乌鸦传媒檚 TV screens.
乌鸦传媒淚 don乌鸦传媒檛 know what the future holds for me. I think I can add value. I乌鸦传媒檓 not ready to throw in the towel on adding value to something.
乌鸦传媒淲hether that乌鸦传媒檚 politics? I乌鸦传媒檓 not sure if there乌鸦传媒檚 an opportunity there or not.乌鸦传媒�
While the former MP doesn乌鸦传媒檛 have a firm grasp on what his future looks like just yet, he does know where he乌鸦传媒檒l be.
乌鸦传媒淚乌鸦传媒檓 staying here. I love it here,乌鸦传媒� said Fuhr.
乌鸦传媒淚乌鸦传媒檝e been trying to get back here for 20 odd years when I was in the military, just waiting for the day I was going to retire and move back here to B.C. I don乌鸦传媒檛 plan on going anywhere.乌鸦传媒�
