A set of original works by UBCO students and alumni now adorns Kelowna乌鸦传媒檚 Cultural District.
The 13 colourful street banners adorn lamp posts along the Rotary Centre for the Arts (RCA) commons and the art walk.
It is a partnership program between the city and UBC Okanagan乌鸦传媒檚 (UBCO) Faculty of Creative and Critical Studies. The program began in 2020 to create opportunities for local artists during pandemic-related facility closures.
An exhibition opening celebration is scheduled for June 12 from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the RCA, which will showcase banners from the past four years as well as an outdoor youth mural, and indoor exhibitions.

Some banners incorporate augmented reality allowing three-dimensional animations. It乌鸦传媒檚 part of the乌鸦传媒谘淮綔Press Play!乌鸦传媒澪谘淮蒋project for undergraduate students.
