PHOTOS: Big turnout sees some taps run dry at Kelowna Beer Fest

More than 30 breweries and cideries participated in the festival

Hundreds came out to cheers a beer in Kelowna's City Park on May 10 for Beer Fest.

The 19+ event had included a morning slot from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and an evening slot from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

By the end of the event, some of the more than 30 breweries and cideries had run out of beverages to serve.

A little rain didn't dampen the day and a rainbow was caught over the park as skies cleared.

On top of a cold beer, attendees enjoyed live music, food trucks, a carnival corner, and an Oilers watch party.
