A FireSmart Your Yard seminar will be held in Lake Country on Saturday, Aug. 10.
It乌鸦传媒檚 an effort to promote wildfire prevention awareness by the Lake Country and Kelowna fire departments, Okanagan Water Basin Board, Okanagan Xeriscape and Kel Lake Garden Centre.
The seminar will provide simple gardening and landscaping steps to 乌鸦传媒渕ake water work乌鸦传媒� in arid landscapes and mitigate the risks of wildfire.
It takes place at Kel Lake Garden Centre (4351 Shanks Road) starting at 10 a.m. on Aug. 10.
