Snowbirds tease Okanagan ahead of Penticton Peach Fest appearance

The Canadian Forces demonstration team did a couple short passes before landing in Penticton

The Snowbirds buzzed through the Okanagan and did a couple passes before landing in Penticton on Aug. 4, ahead of their Peach Festival performance.

The Royal Canadian Air Force's popular aerial acrobatics team is set to perform during the Penticton Peach Festival on Aug. 6.

They will be joined by the Skyhawks parachute team as part of the festival's grand opening afternoon.

During their Aug. 4 flyover, they did several passes, including their skybox patter that saw the planes lined up in a diamond formation that swept through the sky.

Their Peach Fest performances tend to be much longer, and anyone interested in watching them is reminded to keep the waters of Okanagan Lake clear of any boats, paddleboards or other watercraft during their perfomance.
