The Kelowna Rockets have named Troy Durrell the teamѻýs new communications director.
Durrell, from Cochrane Alta., previously spent time in the Western Hockey League with the Medicine Hat Tigers during the 2022-23 season as their media services manager.

Durrell graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology before beginning his media career in Cochrane.

Durrell replaces Paige Bendroz who left in July to join the Edmonton Oilers digital team.
The Rockets begin their 2024-25 season on Sept. 21 when they welcome the Portland Winterhawks to Prosperpa Place.
