The spot fire located west of Mount Baldy is considered held by the BC Wildfire Service.
The fire is believed to have been sparked by lightning.
A fire that is considered held remains active, but is no longer projected to grow beyond its boundaries under current conditions.
According to the BCWS, one initial attack crew and a helicopter were deployed to the fire.

Lightning has sparked a spot fire west of Mount Baldy near Gregoire Creek.
The fire was discovered earlier today, July 31.
BC Wildfire Service estimates the size of the blaze is smaller than 0.1 hectares.
