We asked UBCO students their opinions on living in Kelowna.
Was it difficult to find a place? Do you consider housing expensive?
Jenna McCully, from Calgary, said she enjoys living on campus and doesnÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™t find rent to be expensive, even though for her second year sheÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™ll be taking out student loans.
Stepanie Coleman, from Minnesota, lives off campus and started her search for a living space early so she didnÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™t have a problem finding a place, and thinks renting is expensive for a suite.
Madeline Green, from Ontario, lives on campus because she said being from Ontario, searching for a place is difficult.
Shaden Damen Edson, from Alberta, lives on campus and lives on campus for the accessibility. She said itÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s affordable for her but there could be less-expensive places.
Jacob Movold, from Vancouver, lived on campus for his first year to make friends but lives off campus for his second year as its less expensive.
