Letter: Incensed that electric car owners get 'free' fill-ups

Can anyone explain why someone who buys an electric vehicle should get free power via city-owned and supplied 乌鸦传媒榩ublic charging stations乌鸦传媒�?

Re: Electric Vehicle Charging Set-up Part of 30-station B.C. Network, April 14 乌鸦传媒.

I read the above-mentioned article in the April 14 edition, and have to say that I am incensed by it!

Can anyone explain why someone who buys an electric vehicle should get free power via city-owned and supplied 乌鸦传媒榩ublic charging stations乌鸦传媒�?

I have vehicles which get very good fuel-mileage (my motorcycle gets as much as 73 mpg乌鸦传媒�24 km/l or 4.2l/100 km乌鸦传媒攚hile our car gets as much as 40 mpg乌鸦传媒�14 km/L or 7 L/100 kms乌鸦传媒攂ut I do not see anyone lining up city revenues to supply me with gasoline.

How can this story not generate any public opposition?
