Penticton's 15U AAA club will now head into the annual Qualifier Tournament, also in Chilliwack, where the event's first-place finisher will earn a spot at the Ray Carter Cup (nationals) in Summerside, P.E.I. The second-place team will move on to the Western Canadian Championships in Saskatoon, Sask.

The Tigers, a member of the South Okanagan Minor Baseball Association, begin the qualifiers on Saturday (Aug. 2) with a showdown against the UBC Thunder.

The event's championship game is set for Aug. 3.
