The Canadian Country Music Awards boot-scoot into Kelowna this September, and the city Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) want local artists to help make it unforgettable.

They are looking for creative pitches for immersive art installations to be displayed during Country Music Week from September 10乌鸦传媒�13.

乌鸦传媒淲e乌鸦传媒檙e thrilled to partner with the City of Kelowna to spotlight the creative energy of local artists during Country Music Week,乌鸦传媒� said Keith Buggy, marketing manager with CCMA. 乌鸦传媒淭hese installations will blend the spirit of country music with Kelowna乌鸦传媒檚 vibrant character crafting immersive, photo-worthy experiences that bring fans, artists, and the community together.乌鸦传媒�

Installations should celebrate both Kelowna and the spirit of country music while encouraging public interaction and engagement. Projects can be in any medium and will be featured in indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the city乌鸦传媒檚 Cultural District and event venues during the festivities.

Selected artists will receive $2,000 to bring their vision to life.

"These art installations will be a fun way to bring all the excitement of the Canadian Country Music Awards to the whole community," said Christine McWillis, cultural services manager. "We can乌鸦传媒檛 wait to see what unique and creative projects our local art community comes up with to help celebrate.乌鸦传媒�

Kelowna was awarded the CCMA in April 2024. It's the first time the city will host the event.
