A new federal government is expected to be named Monday night, as Canada乌鸦传媒檚 2025 snap election gets underway.
The main parties vying for the 343 seats in the House of Commons are Mark Carney乌鸦传媒檚 Liberals, Pierre Poilievre乌鸦传媒檚 Conservatives, Jagmeet Singh乌鸦传媒檚 New Democrats, Elizabeth May and Jonathan Pednault乌鸦传媒檚 Greens, Yves-Fran莽ois Blanchet乌鸦传媒檚 Bloc Quebecois and Maxime Bernier乌鸦传媒檚 People乌鸦传媒檚 Party of Canada.
Polls are open in British Columbia from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. PDT

To find out your local poll location, visit the Elections Canada website and type in your street address. Alternatively, Canadians can look at their voter registration card. Voters can only visit their specified polling location.
