A new federal government is expected to be named Monday night, as CanadaÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s 2025 snap election gets underway.
The main parties vying for the 343 seats in the House of Commons are Mark CarneyÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Liberals, Pierre PoilievreÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Conservatives, Jagmeet SinghÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s New Democrats, Elizabeth May and Jonathan PednaultÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Greens, Yves-François BlanchetÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Bloc Quebecois and Maxime BernierÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s PeopleÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s Party of Canada.
Polls are open in British Columbia from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. PDT

To find out your local poll location, visit the Elections Canada website and type in your street address. Alternatively, Canadians can look at their voter registration card. Voters can only visit their specified polling location.
