Two Central Okanagan schools are getting a big boost, thanks to an $80,000 donation from BMO to support the YMCA乌鸦传媒檚 Beyond the Bell program.

Raymer Elementary in Kelowna, and Chief Tomat Elementary in West Kelowna will benefit from the bank乌鸦传媒檚 multi-year commitment, which will help ensure students have the academic and social support they need after school.

乌鸦传媒淥ur children need us,乌鸦传媒� said Allyson Graf, President and CEO of the YMCA of Southern Interior BC. 乌鸦传媒淭his program is crucial in providing wrap-around supports that helps young learners overcome complex challenges and keep up academically with their peers.乌鸦传媒�

Beyond the Bell supports students in Grades 1 through 5 who are referred by teachers or principals. Many face complex barriers to learning, and the program offers a safe, supportive space with literacy and numeracy help, social skill development, and healthy snacks.
