A woman who went missing while making her way to Salmon Arm has been located.
Elizabeth Mcleod is safe and sound, said Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet in a Monday, June 30 news release.
The 53-year-old woman was reported missing on June 19, 2025.
"The RCMP thanks the media and public for their assistance," said Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt.

Police are seeking a woman who was en route to Salmon Arm when she was reported missing.
Elizabeth Mcleod was last seen in Kamloops on the evening of June 17, 2025. The 53-year-old woman left her accommodation there at some point during the night and has not been seen since. After failed attempts to locate her on his own, McleodÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s spouse reported her missing on June 19.
"Elizabeth was destined for Salmon Arm and may be travelling to that area but we are asking the public take a moment to look ElizabethÎÚÑ»´«Ã½™s photo and share within your social media circles," said Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet in a news release.
Mcleod is described as: Caucasian, 5-foot 3-inches tall,146 pounds, with blues eyes and grey hair shaved at the back (different from what's shown in photo). She was last seen wearing grey pants, a peach coloured fleece top and was carrying a black backpack with pink peace signs on it.
Shoihet asked that any possible sightings be reported to the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000, referring to file 2025-19244.
