RCA welcomes jazz star Anthony DѻýAlessandro to Kelowna Stage

The Anthony DѻýAlessandro Quartet will perform at the Rotary Centre for the Arts on Wednesday, June 25.

The Rotary Centre for the Arts is closing out its 2024ѻý25 performance season with one of Canadaѻýs most exciting young jazz talents.

The Anthony DѻýAlessandro Quartet will perform on Wednesday, June 25, bringing a night of rhythm, groove, and world-class musicianship to Kelowna.

Toronto-based DѻýAlessandro is quickly becoming a standout name in Canadian jazz. Known for his dynamic swing and sharp technique, the pianist, composer, and bandleader has performed at major venues like the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Smalls Jazz Club in New York, and Torontoѻýs Koerner Hall.

His 2024 debut album Searchinѻý is earning high praise. Jersey Jazz Magazine called it ѻýa gem of an album,ѻý while French publication Paris Move described it as ѻýuplifting and feel-good.ѻý One of his standout compositions, Tune for Monty, was featured on CBC Musicѻýs ѻýSongs You Need to Hear.ѻý

DѻýAlessandro will be joined by Benny Benack III, Ernesto Cervini, Jonathan Chapman, and guest Zachary Griffin.

While the DѻýAlessandro show wraps up the 2024ѻý25 RCA Presents season, the Rotary Centre has more plans. On Wednesday, June 11 at 7 p.m. the public is invited to a free Launch Party to kick off the 2025ѻý26 season.
