One more week to go.
The Vernon Aquatic Centre at the Vernon Recreation Complex will be down for three weeks for annual maintenance.
The shutdown of the leisure pool, lap pool, sauna, hot tub, and fitness gym facilities runs Monday, Aug. 25, to Sunday, Sept. 14.
The centre will reopen for usual business at 6:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 15.
Office hours during the shutdown will be from 8 a.m. to 4 .p.m Monday to Friday (closed weekends and statutory holidays).
A reminder from Greater Vernon Recreation that Fall Resident Registration opens Monday, Aug. 25, at 7:30 a.m. online and in person for registrations for Vernon Residency Program members.
Fall Non-Resident Registration opens Friday, Sept. 5, at 7:30 a.m. for online and in-person registrations for all other customers.
Registrations will not be processed over the telephone.
